Organizations which desire to become Affiliates of the WCGTC® must have written bylaws (or if no bylaws an official statement outlining the organization’s purpose, goals, and philosophy) that are in accordance with those of the WCGTC®. Membership exists in one of two categories: Affiliated Federations are organizations of three or more countries that have officers and written bylaws (or if no bylaws an official statement outlining the federation’s purpose, goals, and philosophy) that govern the federation, or Affiliated Organizations are local, state, regional, or national organizations that have officers and written bylaws (or if no bylaws exist official statement outlining the organization’s purpose, goals, and philosophy) that govern the organization.
Any organization or federation seeking Affiliate status should complete the application form. Applications are reviewed by the Executive Committee for approval. Affiliate membership is $250 USD per year for non-profits and $350 USD per year for for-profit organizations and is required after approval.
