WCGTC Affiliates

Organizations which desire to become Affiliates of the WCGTC^® must  have written bylaws (or if no bylaws an official statement outlining the organization’s purpose, goals, and philosophy) that are in accordance with those of the WCGTC^®. Membership exists in one of two categories: Affiliated Federations are organizations of three or more countries that have officers and written bylaws (or if no bylaws an official statement outlining the federation’s purpose, goals, and philosophy) that govern the federation, or Affiliated Organizations are local, state, regional, or national organizations that have officers and written bylaws (or if no bylaws exist official statement outlining the organization’s purpose, goals, and philosophy) that govern the organization.

Obtaining Affiliate Status

Any organization or federation seeking Affiliate status should complete the application form. Applications are reviewed by the Executive Committee for approval. Affiliate membership is $250 USD per year for non-profits and $350 USD per year for for-profit organizations and is required after approval.

Benefits of being an Affiliate member include:

• access to the complete archives of World Gifted, the official newsletter of the WCGTC®;
• copies of Gifted and Talented International, the journal of the WCGTC®;
• reduced exhibit booth rate at the Biennial World Conference that will include one participant registration;
• No more than two member-rate registrations for representatives of the affiliate at the World Conference;
• reduced cost for advertising space in the conference program;
• reduced cost for advertising space in the newsletter, the journal, and on the website to announce and promote conference and other activities;
• endorsement of conference by use of the WCGTC® name and logo for advertising purposes, upon a written request and permission granted for such;
• complimentary announcement of conferences on WCGTC® social media websites upon written request to Headquarters and approval from the Executive Committee; and
• endorsement of organization on the WCGTC® Affiliates page.
