WCGTC Annual Audit Report

The World Council for Gifted and Talented Children has conducted an annual audit for 2012-2013 and 2013-2014, as required by section 13.11 of the Bylaws of the organization. Crowe Horwath, an independent auditing firm in Louisville, KY, was contracted for the audit.

The two primary sources of income for the World Council come from membership fees and the Biennial World Conference. Expenses are related to the newsletter, the journal, the website, and the office.

Western Kentucky University provides the office space, the Executive Administrator’s salary, and expenses related to the Executive Committee’s annual meeting on the year that is between World Conferences. These expenses can be covered due to the generosity of a gift from Pete and Dixie Mahurin.

The audit can be viewed at https://www.world-gifted.org/amember/content/f/id/7/.
